It’s possible to ask a seller to pay above closing costs on a VA loan.
Did you know that on a VA loan, the seller can pay over and above the closing costs? Recently we had a situation where the buyer needed to have some of their debt paid off to qualify for the home. We were able to negotiate a deal where the seller paid $10,000 over their closing costs, and that money was applied to pay those bills, which enabled the buyers to move into that house.
